Free Speech in the Workplace
Free Speech in the Workplace
FREE ONLINE WORKSHOP
Monday, February 3 from 12:00-1:30pm EST
Can employees say whatever they want at work? We will dive into the types of speech that are, and are not, prohibited and protected in public and private workspaces. The rules for workplace speech are governed by various state and federal laws, as well as individual employers’ policies and practices.
Participants will gain an overview of the complex legal landscape making speech free, or costly, at work.
