NOW HIRING: Executive Director
The nonprofit Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications seeks an Executive Director to guide our mission to promote and defend the First Amendment and foster interest, integrity and excellence in journalism and communications through innovative education programs.
Your leadership will shape the School’s future by driving program development, fundraising, community engagement, and operational excellence. Reporting to the President and Trustees, your work will empower learners and strengthen our community presence. This is a part-time role of approximately 32 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership to align operations with the School's mission.
Oversight of dynamic educational programs, workshops, and events.
Fundraising, including donor relationships, grant writing, and event coordination.
Stakeholder engagement, fostering partnerships, and public representation.
Management of daily operations, budgeting, and program logistics.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, journalism, business administration, or a related field.
8+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit management or communications.
Expertise in program development, fundraising, and community building.
Knowledge of the First Amendment, interest in building adult civics knowledge, and commitment to the value of communications education.
