Special Event: Stepping up and Standing Out--Women’s Political Participation in 2024
On Monday, April 24, 2023 from 5:30-7pm, the NH Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College and the Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications are co-hosting a special event on women’s political participation in 2024, called “Stepping Up and Standing Out.”
Betsy Fischer Martin joins us to discuss the recent poll of women voters conducted by Berenson Strategy Group for American University’s Women & Politics Institute and the Barbara Lee Family Foundation. The public opinion survey looks at women’s political participation and the outlook for 2024 – what issues matter most, who do they trust to solve problems and how the state of the economy is impacting their lives. And as the race for the White House takes shape, what qualities do women want to see in a candidate?
Following her remarks, Ms. Fischer Martin will join Jennifer Lucas, Professor of Politics at Saint Anselm College, for a moderated discussion with audience members.
The event will be held at the NHIOP Auditorium, 100 Saint Anselm Drive, Manchester, and is free and open to the public with advance registration. LEARN MORE at https://www.anselm.edu/new-hampshire-institute-politics/stepping-and-standing-out-womens-political-participation-2024.
