The Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications announces its Spring Class Schedule
MANCHESTER, NH – This Spring at the Loeb School, students will gain skills in public speaking, journalism and writing careers, improve their use of Google tools, and learn how to use Canva to elevate their content creation work. Coffee with Jennifer Vaughn, Anchor and Author

Jennifer Vaughn, seasoned WMUR News Anchor and accomplished author, will speak at the Nackey S. Loeb School. If you are a fan of her journalistic work, intrigued by her literary achievements, or simply interested in the art of storytelling, you'll have the chance to hear Jennifer share personal anecdotes from her career and learn about the inspirations behind her books and her writing process. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
Spring into Public Speaking

In today's professional world, effective communication is key. This class offers strategies to confidently address diverse audiences, harnessing nervous energy for impactful presentations to both small and large groups. Led by experienced instructor Andrea Bard, participants will learn to employ proper eye contact and hand gestures, follow a structured approach for presentation development, utilize various visual aids effectively, and adeptly handle challenging questions.

The Loeb School's new Back to Basics courses aim to equip learners of all levels with fundamental skills through engaging learning experiences. These courses prioritize hands-on applications and visual aids, providing easy-to-follow summary notes and shortcut lists in each class. Join us for our inaugural Back to Basics class on Google Tools, focusing on Google Docs and Google Drive. Led by seasoned instructor Ananya Ramani, participants will gain a clear understanding of essential software tools, apply learned skills in real-world scenarios, and build confidence in utilizing these tools effectively.

Unlock the potential of your Canva creativity in this immersive class, regardless of your skill level. Learn graphic design tips, tricks, and hacks, including creating a Brand Kit, utilizing Canva AI, understanding templates, grasping graphic design principles, and leveraging Canva to support your brand. Your instructor, Victoria Carrington Chavez, is a brand strategist and graphic designer known for her innovative approaches to digital marketing and community building.
